Toshiko Ishida Solo Exhibition
July 9–12, 2026
I create wool felt accessories and dolls using brass wire for the internal structure. Rather than hiding the brass wire core, I incorporate it into the design, adjusting thickness and strength through the creation of original parts and specific wiring techniques. Using everyday tools like pliers and wire cutters, I craft everything from small pieces with delicate expressions to large-scale works.
