"Enjoying art"

410Gallery brings together a diverse range of artists, and exhibitions that transcend genres and experience are created every day. In a space where people can enjoy art, each expression naturally intertwines, and when artists with different backgrounds present their work in the same place, unexpected dialogues are born, the range of expression expands, and new possibilities begin to sprout one after another. For visitors, it is an open art experience where they can encounter diverse perspectives and values through the artworks. 410Gallery is a gallery where new forms of expression constantly grow through these encounters and inspirations.

"A space created by the artwork and the viewer."

410Gallery Plus embodies this philosophy by incorporating the openness and transparency unique to a street-level shop facing Kawabata Shopping Arcade into its space, creating an environment where even those unfamiliar with art can stop and naturally encounter the works. The artworks visible through the glass, and the exhibition scenery blending with the atmosphere of the street, gently connect the inside and outside of the gallery, transforming the street itself into part of the exhibition space.

Furthermore, a quiet exhibition room has been set up at the back of the first floor, providing a space where visitors can quietly contemplate the artworks and immerse themselves deeply in their worlds amidst the lively atmosphere. This gallery is designed to support the moment when artworks and viewers meet, engage in dialogue, and give rise to new sensibilities—a place where people from diverse backgrounds come and go.

"A space created to showcase artwork."

Nestled quietly within the Kawabata Shopping Arcade, 410Gallery is a small gallery that, despite its convenient location just a two-minute walk from the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, exudes a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Located on the fourth floor of a 60-year-old vintage building, this space quietly embodies the warmth and comforting familiarity that comes from a building that has stood the test of time.

What this space values most is "making the artwork look its most beautiful." The soft textures of the old building, combined with the fresh sensibilities of contemporary art, create a special "blank space" where the artwork naturally stands out. A calm and comfortable atmosphere prevails, allowing visitors to slowly and leisurely engage with the art at their own pace.

A small moment of tranquility that unexpectedly appears in everyday life. 410Gallery is like a little hideaway in the city, designed to make art more accessible and enjoyable. Please feel free to drop by and spend a moment quietly conversing with the artwork.
