Theme: Flowers
We are seeking works that freely express each artist's image of "flower." In previous exhibitions, we have gathered a diverse range of works that evoke "flowers" indirectly, such as "colors and shapes reminiscent of flowers," "the feeling of blooming," and "abstract expressions that suggest the vitality of plants," rather than depicting flowers themselves. There are no restrictions on genre or technique. Let the "flower" that breathes within you bloom freely. We look forward to receiving your submissions.

This is an open gallery facing the Kawabata Shopping Street. Taking full advantage of its street-level location, this place values being a "chance entrance" where even those unfamiliar with art can easily encounter works of art as an extension of their daily lives.

Located in the heart of Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Kamikawabata-machi in Hakata Ward is a place where history and culture intersect. This area has long prospered through trade and has fostered a unique culture, teeming with the energy of festivals such as the Hakata Gion Yamakasa. Kawabata Shopping Street sees over 10,000 pedestrians a day, and during the Hakata Dontaku Port Festival, it becomes a bustling and vibrant shopping district with as many as 2 million visitors.

8. About the Exhibition
Exhibition Rules
・Wall-mounted artwork requires a hanging string.
・Frame not required; edges will be treated as part of the artwork.
・Remove the glass from the picture frame (acrylic is acceptable).
・Participants must bring their own equipment (power supply available).
・Display stands are provided; please bring your own dedicated stand.
Prohibitions
・Nails with a diameter of 3 mm or more and double-sided tape are prohibited from being used on walls and display stands.
★Works that contain natural materials or that may be prone to insects must be fumigated and treated with insecticide.
・Untreated works cannot be exhibited.
・Items that scatter or are granular cannot be exhibited.
・Distributing flyers inside the exhibition room is prohibited
・QR codes cannot be displayed
★Video, light and sound works
・The lights in the exhibition rooms cannot be turned off.
・Please provide a darkroom if needed.
・Wi-Fi etc.: Please bring anything you need.
・Please prepare a 5-meter extension cord.
・After closing time: The power to the venue will be turned off.
・Audio: Can be used with headphones or at a volume that is audible within the designated area.
・Powering on: When requesting assistance from the secretariat, please ensure that the operation is easy to perform.

12. Sales Information
Artwork sales
The secretariat will handle information about works currently on display and works posted online, as well as business negotiations.
If you have any questions for the artists, please contact the office.
Contract for the work
A gallery sales certificate will be provided to the buyer.
・Sales commission: 40% of the artwork price (including tax)
・Electronic payment processing fee: 5%
・Bank transfer fees: to be borne by each individual.
・Issuance of gallery sales certificate: Limited to works priced at 30,000 yen or more (including tax).
★If you do not want to sell your work
Please write "Not for sale" when applying.

Price per work: 6,600 yen
・Published for one year after the exhibition ends.
・A sales certificate will be issued to the buyer upon completion of the transaction.
・Sales commission 40% (electronic payment +5%)
・Issuance of gallery sales certificate: Limited to works priced at 30,000 yen or more (including tax).
