How to attach artwork information labels and packaging (for delivery, drop-off, and take-out)
Packaging your artwork is important as it protects it and ensures that it arrives in your hands once the purchase is made.
Please make sure the packaging is easy to unpack and can be reused when packing again.

The following items have been damaged during delivery:
In recent years, there have been cases where the packaging method has made the item ineligible for the delivery company's warranty.
Therefore, please check the following information.
When shipping glass or ceramic items, we use shock-resistant outer boxes and cushioning materials, and clearly display warning labels such as "Handle with care" and "Keep top side down."
Please bring in (unpack) and take away (pack) items as much as possible.
Works printed directly onto photographs or acrylic sheets may come into contact with the packaging material during shipping and be damaged, so please make sure to take measures to prevent them from coming into contact with the packaging material.
Please bring in (unpack) and take away (pack) items as much as possible.
Oil paintings, acrylic paintings, and other works that are not yet dry may stick to the packaging and be damaged, so please make sure that the artwork does not come into contact with the packaging.

We cannot guarantee against damage during delivery.
In order to protect your valuable works, please understand the above and take great care in packaging them for delivery.

5. Attach the artwork information label to the exterior


01
Prepare the artwork and artwork information label
Product information label: 4 or more
Please include your real name, artist name, and title. (Handwritten is acceptable.)
・Please be sure to attach the sticker to your artwork and packaging.
・The artwork information label will be removed during the exhibition.

Attach a work information label to the back of the work
・Work information label: Include your real name, artist name, and title
Flat work
・For wall artwork, be sure to attach a hanging cord to the back of the artwork.
- If the hanging cord is not attached, installation equipment costs will be charged separately.
・Please remove glass. Acrylic panels are acceptable.
Solid work
・Please take measures to prevent unstable works from falling over during exhibition.
*If your work is placed in an acrylic box or similar, please take measures to prevent it from collapsing during shipping.
★It seems that many people forget to bring the hanging cord.
Please make sure to attach the hanging cord as it is necessary for display.

Packing the work
No packaging material specified
・Use of protective materials: Always use bubble wrap and cushioning materials
-For hanging scrolls and special boxes, we will handle the packaging materials, etc.

Attach the artwork information label to the packaging
- In the case of two or consecutive works, the works will be packed so that they do not touch each other.
・Be careful not to damage the corners of picture frames, etc.
・If there is a possibility that the artwork may break, please place a cushion or something similar inside.
If you have equipment, please include it with your name.
・If the work requires layout, please include the layout instructions.

Attaching the artwork information label to the exterior
★If you are bringing food or taking it home, please complete the preparations up to this point.
Delivery person
Please tape the four corners of the artwork information label securely to prevent it from peeling off during shipping.
・Warning stickers such as "Handle with care" and "Keep top and bottom" are clearly displayed
・Opening procedure: If necessary, attach "opening procedure"
・Select a company that can transport art works
・Insurance: Insurance is always provided in case of damage or loss during delivery.
・Delivery company: clearly communicate the delivery date and time
★Please make sure to select the delivery date and time as specified.
Since items cannot be received on any other day than the delivery date, they will be returned by the delivery company, cash on delivery.
Large works (total of three sides is 250cm or more) and heavy works (20kg or more)
Please arrange for shipping (unpacking and display) and return (removal and packing) by yourself.
・Shipping: Prepaid
・Return: Cash on delivery
・No designated delivery company
・Display by yourself or arrange for exhibition staff
・The secretariat will not arrange for delivery, exhibition or removal companies.
・The same applies to special, sharp, complicatedly assembled, or easily damaged items.


★Examples of packaging that cannot be delivered
Packing with only bubble wrap like the one in the image may cause damage during shipping or may not be able to be delivered depending on the shipping company. Please be sure to pack in a cardboard box.
★ Please pack your work even if you bring it directly to the venue or pick it up.
